After reading some positive Yelp reviews I stopped in here for lunch. Place was rather crowded which is always a great sign! Seems like there are a lot of locals which is another good sign.
Bartender is friendly. Soup was good and the buffalo chicken salad was delicious! I would definitely return. -

Nice little hidden bar/grill tucked in the back of a strip mall.
CHEAP!
Great waitstaff.
Good food and drink!
I got buzzed off one mojito. Hell yes.
We also ordered a plate of nachos which was LOADED! And HUUUUUUGE!!!!
It was amazing.
Easy 5 stars -

It's a cozy spot where I got to share the stuffed mushrooms and calamari appetizers.
The place was packed to my surprise as I had never been before this day. Our server was very friendly and laughed with us a bunch.
The food was okay. Decent calamari but the stuffed mushrooms missed the mark. Took a couple bites and left them. This was made up for by the upbeat, inviting ambiance, where I certainly see myself back in the future for a drink or simpler appetizer like fries. Cheers. -

Well priced, large menu, nice atmosphere. Overall had a good experience. They offer very generous wine pours which is always nice! Food was good, my fish and chips (with onion straws instead of fries) was well cooked and it was a generous portion of fish. My mom liked her eggplant parm and had enough leftover for another meal. We certainly would return, perfect for a good townie spot.

Lakeside Bar & Grille is a nice little spot right over the bridge from Worcester into Shrewsbury. It's tucked away on the far end of the Chipotle/Trader Joes plaza.
It's rather small inside and there's really no theme or anything like that. But man, what it lacks in that it makes up for in great tasting food and good customer service.
Our party of 4 started out with RI Style Calamari and Potato Skins. Both were very impressive. In my opinion mostly the calamari, it was cooked perfectly and had banana peppers on the side. In the future I may ask for a little more seasoning but it was great. Their potato skins were plain Jane but they'll send you to flavortown baby. Keep it simple.
One member of the party got clam chowder as well and I had a couple spoonfuls... honestly I love my NE Clam Chowder and those few bits. AMAZING. Honestly best NE Chowder I've ever had. Would go back just for that. We both agreed on that.
As for our entrees. My brother and I split their Mac N Cheese with pulled pork added and a Mushroom and Swiss. Everything was just about perfect besides the mushroom and Swiss. Mac N Cheese was phenomenal.
But the mushroom and Swiss just wasn't there. It had Lettuce, tomato, and onions on it which killed it. You couldn't truly taste the beef. There wasn't near enough mushrooms and Swiss for what it was. For that reason I dock it from a potential 5 to a solid 4.
Now don't take that as a bad thing, because I'll be back, I'll just be staying away from that burger. Keep up the good work guys!
